Cala Ladies took on Glasgow University ( newly promoted to national 1) in a close pre season friendly. The young Cala side went down 2-1 to an older more experienced uni side. They started off nervously but looked stronger as the match went on.

Cala were first to score from a neat pass from Abbie Grant finding Ava Allan on the left post who dinked it home.

Uni came back strong but Cala defended well and had chances to win the match when a strike from Abbie Grant just missed and hit the post and a well struck corner from Olivia Henderson went just wide of the post.

Lots to be positive about from a talented young team who can only get stronger.
