First up, thank Yallena for kitting up again and being a star in goals! Also to Charles for running the bench and John Smith for umpiring! Great community spirit from them all.
The opposition were all over 18s and there were some strong players used to playing with each other but we paid attention to the target we had set and managed to really limit their opportunities. They scored from 2 straight strikes (well worked PCs) in the 1st half but we grew more and more into the game. By the 2nd half we were causing them problems and we created a number of good chances but didn't quite get the final touch. Hard to pick anyone out from a splendid team effort but the sideline help voted for Lucy as MoM and she did a power of running up front, getting important touches to help us on our way.
Shame there is a break for the hols now but we will keep working on connections and get a win soon!
